The Pianissimo program offers you a virtual piano which reproduces the rich and quality sound of this classical instrument via your PC. It works as an independent application, or you can connect a MIDI keyboard, like a "plug-in" VSTi, so that you can use all your experience playing the piano through your PC.
Using a combination of pre-recorded samples and an advanced physical model to reproduce piano sounds in real time, Pianissimo offers a tremendously real sound, of high quality, with samples of up to 250 MB in size recorded from a Steinway Model D piano. You can also edit them yourself directly in Pianissimo, really easily.
Via Pianissimo you can also record and edit your own scores, in various audio formats (WAV, MIDI, MP3, OGG...), playing them back or sharing them on-line, as you wish. So, if you like playing the piano, but one doesn't fit in your home, then don't hesitate, because Pianissimo is just for you!
